The Bytebaq Service vaults data in EU Safe Harbour Compliant Tier III data centres. Prior to transmission and vaulting, the data is encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption. This keeps data secure and invisible to others.

TRANSMISSION SECURITY

Encryption is a technology that scrambles your information so that other people cannot intercept it and read it. DataFort uses 256-bit AES encryption. The same standard approved for internal use by the US federal government. Your data is only transmitted off site after it has been encrypted.

Individual encryption keys. Each account has a unique randomly created encryption key thereby assuring only you can access your data.

Multiple verification checks are performed on each file received at the data center.

HARDWARE SECURITY

High quality RAID mirrored disk servers are used as the archive servers.

Hot Standby Servers employed for every five backup servers. Should a problem develop, the disks will be swapped into a new machine .

DATA CENTRE SECURITY

Very early smoke detection apparatus (VESDA) installed.

Smoke detection system.

FOG TEC Mist fire suppression system.

CCTV system covering all entrances/exits and main areas.

Full perimeter alarm.

24-hour digital recording.

PAC security card access system.

On-site diesel generators for emergency power.
